General Chiropractic
Chiropractic is a licensed health care profession that emphasizes the body's ability to heal itself. We are licensed physicians that evaluate and adjust the spine to restore function within the spine and whole person. At the same time, we are working to eliminate the pain, boost the immune system, reduce arthritic changes and improve the quality of life. We examine each individual patient to determine an appropriate method of manual manipulation, treatment plan and long term wellness care.
Prenatal Care
Chiropractic care in pregnancy is vital to the normal everyday function and growth of both the mother and baby throughout pregnancy and delivery. Dr. Jessica is certified in the Webster Technique. The Webster Technique is a specific chiropractic sacral analysis and diversified adjustment. Sacral subluxation (a misalignment in the pelvis) may contribute to difficult labor for the mother (i.e., dystocia), caused by inadequate uterine function, pelvic contraction, and baby mal-presentation.
Pediatric Care
The birth process can be one of the most traumatic events of our lives and can stress a still developing spine. The resulting irritation to the nervous system can be the cause of many newborn health complaints. Colic, unexplained crying, poor appetite, constipation, ear infections, acid reflux and gas are just a few of the problems that can be traced back to nervous system dysfunction caused by a malfunctioning spine. If left unaddressed, some of these issues can set the stage for scoliosis, "growing pains" and a weakened immune system response. Chiropractic adjusting techniques are modified to fit a child's size and weight.
